If I bought a house that had a walking trail through my backyard, I wouldn't put a fence up around the trail blocking everyone out and think for one moment, "I'm not the bad guy here".
Plus, isn't the trail in the backmost part of his land? Couldn't he be a nice guy and run the fence along the trail or something? Tread lightly motherfuckers, not put up a giant 10 foot fence with barbed wire.
Although, when the zombies to finally attack he's gonna look like a genius.
