    For WOW/Comcast the people who install / make house calls have to be the worst fuck-ups ever.

    Once I called because we were experiencing terribly slow internet at our house, so they gave us a 6 hour window of when the douchebag would get there the next day.

    Of course he came with ten minutes to spare of that six hours. Instead of trying to diagnose the problem he just proceeded to replace all the equipment, router, cables, etc. He also removed something from a splitter for our cable and had no clue what it was for!

    We had good internet for about 12 hours before we had to call them up again.

    • oh yeah turned out it was interference from the line coming to the house - nothing to do with any of the equipment in the housed_rek
