Bolt is sponsored by Puma for the next handful of years. In his contract it states that he gets a million bucks everytime he breaks the record... so why crush it? He's being a smart businessman and beating it little by little. That's why he always looks back to see if he should slow down. Writers were saying that we'll never know his real WR shattering potential because of the million each time. : /
