from above... to answer....because i love qbn'ers over all...

the designer did not preform to their job. they were asked to upload 3 folders of work to an ftp site, which they did not. they waited 5 days to perform thus act. the files needed were to be used for new prints to be open via jacquard molds which tacks 7-10 business days to create, and thus the 5 days they waited made the factory lose 1 week in mold design and creation time while the cost was still to be paid as we reserved thus timing. the designer was fired. on the spot. also the entire design team is also now on probation and new hires are being sought for for their positions. they are told their jobs are seriously on the the line and they need to focus a lot more.

i demand a 2 hour recap every day for all designers and their goals for every hour for the upcoming week.

if they do not meet my goals by the end of this week they are to let go permanently.

    this is the fashion industry....

    anyone want a job???

    hahaha

web designs seems so nice now doesnt it!!!?!?!?

    :P

    • Sounds like a case of the mice playing while the cat is away. As if you needed anything more to think aboutlocustsloth
    • no offence but sounds like better project management may have avoided this, especially if he/she was new. Perhaps they were used to a system with a production dept?
