so CASC camp doesn't just teach you to be a better leader, it does teach you to be a better person, so you can better the community around you, and eventually the world.
one of the things that came up for me last week was the fact that most people would die to have half the things i have. i mean, my parents grew up dirt poor, yet never got discouraged and worked and worked to where they are today. i forget that i live in a affluent, safe place, and i just happen to very lucky to live in that sort of place. and the things that i have, that's another story.
you could say i feel very guilty sometimes.
