sat night around 12:30am my pc died... not sure what's wrong... had a MAD deadline to meet also...
... a buddy showed up at 7:30am Sunday morning w/his Mac and worked until noon while i worked on my laptop...
... then he left his Mac so I could finish up -- this morning things got emotional as i realized the hole i was in... I work from home... this machine feeds me etc...
... well - I have some cash coming this week - enough to buy a new mac and even get my current pc fixed... it's just this exact day or the next few for that matter - I need to work...
...same fella who showed up w/his Mac fronted me money today insistently as he feels I'm good for it...
... i now have a Mac!! :)
I don't have a lot of friends... but the few i have are gold. :)
