The USA played a dirty game, they made Saakashvili believe that they had his back, that he was somehow free of movement. But since the US recognized Kosovo's independence, they have to be consistent and recognize S. Ossetian independence as well, which is what S. Ossetia is trying to do -- they are breaking away from Georgia, and Georgia attacked S. Ossetia back, if none of you got that. (S. Ossetia wants to join Russia, btw, and is already part of Russia in many ways, 90% are russian citizens, russian currency, russian school books etc)
Saakashvili will taste Western hypocrisy and will get the good slapping that he's been needing
