so... i have 4 brothers...
1 I haven't spoken to in 18 years... 1 I'm indifferent with (he's a step-brother... doesn't really count)...
... now the other 2 -
One just got out of jail... while in jail - both his homes went into foreclosure... one of his cars was re-poed... etc etc..
... so he get's out of jail - goes to use his cell phone and apparently didn't set up an 'away plan' correctly (he was only in jail for 4 months... no big deal)...
... anyway - phone doesn't work anymore... he fucked up - no surprise. But NO ONE will give him a phone w/out a down-payment of sorts etc (you know the deal)... so, like a fool (AND because my other brother is already on my phone plan... how do i say 'no' to the other?)... I put him on my plan. I also said yes to putting his new phone on a 3-month payment plan (as the phone company offers that)... and it's a pricey phone he swears he can pay for...
... more than a month has gone by - he hasn't gotten a job yet. I texted him his phone bill for this past month about 7 days ago now - no response.
About 3 weeks ago he calls me and tells me that the guy watching his dog doesn't want the dog around if my brother's not going to be there... so somehow I inherited another dog to feed / take care of etc... which is no big deal - she's a sweet / shy / scared pooch who's not been loved... bring her on over.
Well.. for the last week she cries every time she scratches her ear... and the last night she couldn't sleep and cried all night at the foot of my bed...
I've been calling / texting my loser of brother for the last week nearly begging he come take care of his dog...
... little response at all. The responses were annoying 'thick' questions (as I call them) because they're meant to make the situation seem much larger than they appear - so that I lose interest in answering them and just handle the fucking situation myself.
Her pain was great... so I took her to the vet this a.m. She's on antibiotics now for a yeast infection in her ear. That's another $245 to add to his lazy-ass bill.
What's worse - same brother called me asking me to LIE to his Parole Officer for him and tell him that he worked for me... he even wanted me to produce check stubs... (this is about 2 weeks ago now)... I didn't know how to answer it w/out being an asshole so i told him 'we'd talk later'.
He's a 'professional poker player' btw... that's why he NEEDS to lie to his P.O... cuz that shit will never fly...
... this brother graduated from high school 7th out of 745 kids... i have no fucking clue what his fucking problem is... (and he's mooching off this poor girl who thinks he's in love with her... it's fucking KILLING ME.... )
... then there's the last brother... the other one on my phone plan.
Somehow - my kindness has turned into 'little brother can take my atm card when he's hungry'...
... he's 30 btw... (the professional jailhouse poker player is 34)...
... the 30 year old also hasn't paid me for the phone in NINE FUCKING MONTHS... he decided to stop going to work about 3 months ago (right when I got a house for myself... what convenient timing)... and he was living in one of my jailPoker bro's soon-to-be-foreclosed properties... so he had nowhere to go...
... he speaks mad false promises... bullshits like a mother-fucker... GOD... WHY ARE MY BROTHERS SUCH GOOD FUCKING CON-ARTISTS?!!!....
... I just realized what a disgusting ENABLER am...
... I just keep thinking they're going to change... I used to brag about how smart my older brother is... fucking 7/745 kids... free-ride to any school he wanted here in Arizona... he didn't take it... (this is right around the time he discovered that his pleasure came first)...
... and now I need to get back to work - I killed my morning at the Vet and am too worked up to even think about my clients...
... but I need to get back to making bread and butter for my two 30+ aged brothers...
