    Mojo,
I divide my time between managing projects/employees and doing front end dev work.
It's what you make of it. You can take a design/mock up/whatever and code it into html/css and call it done. Or you can work with it to create a functional, user friendly product. I find doing non-creative/design type of work for a living lets me spend all of my free time being creative and working on personal projects. I think if i designed all day for clients I'd be a little burned out and wouldn't have the creative energy to explore more personal and interesting projects.

There is a lot more to front end development than just slicing and coding. It's what you make of it.

    • yeah, for sure. that's the kind of insight I was after,,Mojo
