First off, I agree with JFletcher about JamalJenking or whatever.
If the sequel sucked SOOOO incredibly much, it wouldn't have had record breaking sales in just the first weekend. In fact, I'm pretty sure it's STILL raking in the dough.
Now on to other stuff. As far as the next villains go, I'm pretty sure everything up until this point is pretty far-fetched. If we expect one thing, they'll only slam us with something completely different. Run around the rumor mill all you want, but I think they're really wanting to surprise us.
And who said Johnny Depp could possibly replace Heath Ledger? I think that, from a fan standpoint, that would be the absolute worse thing for them to do. As far as I'm concerned, they should just leave the joker be for two reasons:
1) Ledger did such an amazing job, itseems near impossible that they will find someone even half as good.
2) Ledger DIED because of the mental strain this put on him. Fans (or at least the media) would have a FIELD day seeing them put someone else in that "danger".So yeah, they need to move on. I think they need something fresh, you know? I don't think they should use one of the MAIN villains just yet. Take a break and use someone a little less known that hasn't already been used in other movies from the past.
