As a kid, did you ever swim in a circular above-ground pool and you and your friends all marched around the edge of the inside othe pool, going round and round and round until it made a whirlpool of sorts? And it would get so strong that you started getting swept away by it so you had to grab on to the edge of the pool to save yourself?
