The guy i bought 2 cords of wood off of called last night and said he'd be here between 7 and 7:30 this morning to drop it off. 7:30 comes and goes and i'm getting hungry and have to use the bathroom. So i wait and wait because i know that the second i start making breakfast or go into the bathroom, he's gonna show up.
So i just embraced it. i selected the task that had the least amount of commitment (making breakfast) and went to it. No sooner had i put the pan on the burner and turned it on than the dude shows up.
Goes to show that sometimes you need to test, and can slightly manipulate, those unwritten laws of life.- you cool your house with wood?********
