If I did leave then there's a chance I'll won't be able to re-enter to visit her folks and if she ever gets homesick enough to want to move home we'll be screwed.
Our financial plan counted on me working in Scotland and living with my folks to save money on rent. Now I have to work like a bastard to make things up, and my wife needs to get work.
On the plus side I'll get to stay with my wife and dogs :)
