I have a 19" Dell LCD Ion Silver screen. For a start 19" is more like 21" due to the complete flatness and no curvature. Secondly the "haze" is gone and things have a pixel crispness that CRT can give you.
Another advantage that is rarly mentioned is that reflection glare is much less.
Gaming or Video Editing on cheap LCD's is a no because the screen will no redraw quick enough and can cause ghosting but prices are coming down on the better screens.
I paid £1200 for this LCD almost a year ago but it is probably worth in today's prices just over £900.
Well worth every penny
