Yeah - it's a kind of a conundrum, because obviously you need to address the solution to the problem that client is paying you for. It would be really dumb and self indulgent to try and impose your style on something when the project didn't call for it.
On the other hand, if there were no "Builds" in the world style would never advance and we wouldn't get new ideas. Even what we view as a *neutral* style can be traced back to innovations in the early to mid 20th century.
