Michael Keaton, and Val Kilmer both stopped being Batman saying that the villains were becoming more of the story with Batman taking a backseat. Now, may both have said stuff like that after they were already off their respective projects - but you can already see it kind of happening.
I think that's why I liked Batman Begins so much, it was mostly Batman - and I still really like the Dark Knight, I just fear that the next one is already going to be villain'd up - and they need to keep Bale's Bruce Wayne viable.
Being that Nolan is the man though, I think he'll make sure that Batman doesn't become an ancillary character in his own movie. I sure hope not.
- Agreed. I didn't mind it as much in this film, as Joker is one of my fave villains. Bruce needs more development.Jaline
- I mean, if we're comparing notes on previous films and characters, that is. Not saying he didn't have any development.Jaline
- development, in general.Jaline
