  So the condo we bought (house built in 1904) has this lovely Art Nouveau chandelier (tasteful, not huge and ostentatious) in the entry hall. The person that lived there for 15 years before us was a smoker, so the thing was covered in this thick grime of nicotine and tar; the mother-in-law came by this weekend and cleaned the thing and it's utterly amazing how shiny and sparkly it is, i was just flicking the lights on and off this morning to gaze in wonder and amazement...
