I was bounced around an intersection when I was 16. Wasn't wearing a helmet and had no head trauma. I did break my pelvis into 4 pieces, compound fracture of the right fibula and tibula, busted spleen and collapsed lung. After 6-12 months in and out of hospitals and rehab I was fully recovered, minus some serious scars but chicks dig scars right?
A coworkers husband was hit 2 months ago and wasn't so lucky. Some guy decided to hold up a convent store for a twelve pack of beer and as he speed out of the parking he ran over him and speed off. They caught him the next day and he's still in jail. But the guy I know has been in and out of a coma and mat never talk or walk again.
