Guys, thanks for the advice.
The reality is, that this is a real-world, low-budget, low-profile job. So to my client, it's better than anything they'd get nearby.
And while having 20 designers crit a piece is fantastic - the result of too many cooks is commonly a mass of shite. I'm not a super designer. This isn't paying that well. I'll take most of your advice, and show you what I come up with later. I don't think I made it clear that this was an initial visual style mockup lacking real content.
