Anyway, I'll assume you mean how the fuck did they get the freeze-frame rotations.
Notice how it's never a full rotation. More like a quarter.
I think it's safe to assume they just used an array of digital cameras which fired at the same time. When the "camera" gets toward the end of its rotation, they probably had to shoot the same scene as an empty plate, removing the first ten or so cameras so you don't see the "trail" of them behind.
