    I LOVE camping, but as you say, only once every few years. Last time I did it, we set up camp, got rip-roaring drunk, went to bed (passed out) and was woken up by monsoon-like rain which didn’t stop for 6 hours. When the sun came up, I was cold, wet and sick as a dog. One of the co-owners of the camp site appeared, seemingly from nowhere, to make a fire and make us coffee and breakfast (we didn’t even really know him). If he hadn’t turned up we would probably still be there, wet and shivering. That’s good times right there.
