    Not necessarily. Recently I've been working on several more 'social' projects, with briefs and scoping formulated from genuine research on user needs. So in fact, the design is diplomatic and empowering.

    Commercially you're probably not far off, advertising is not far removed from propaganda, its just more sophisticated and cynically subtle.
