    Black people use the term in a totally different context than what white people ORIGINALLY intended for the word to be. They took the word and "flipped" it so to speak. The flipped a negative into a positive within thier own ethnic circle. The argument when "white boy Jim Bob" makes about "well its messed how they can use it and I cant" is a moot point because the real truth is Jim Bob 1. doesnt want to use it as a term of endearment or in any other context that black people are using it for, he really wants to use it in the context that his granddad used it in. and 2. all what Jimbob really knows about black people is what he see's on TV and in the news (which is selective with thier stories anyways).

    We can even go deeper with this by reading this article, written by a white professors a few years ago.
