You don't need to get fitted shoes if you are just starting out.
Go get any comfortable running shoe, walk on them make sure they fit right, Brands don't matter, you will be running on them so if they feel comfortable get them.Try not to spend too much either, you don't need the "look at me I'm a runner shoe" at this point, if you are serious about running in a year or so, then go get fitted shoes and buy the fluoest/ orangest shoes your wallet can afford, but for now, comfortable will do
