thanks -- yeah i looked through those, not quite what we need, also this has to be automated -- i'm thinking that a frame-by-frame animation like learnflash.com's page curl may have to be it... however they want it on the other page that has the horizontal pic of the forest as well though, so was trying to think of a faster way to do it! maybe rather than curling I'll just have the rip appear and then the paper fall away to the side/bottom. cheers
