I think it depends on where you are at. In some companies you will have a creative director thats say umm, the CD over 3 accounts. Then there is an ACD (associate creative director) underneath them, maybe one on each of those accounts and that is thier focus but they all three report and work under the CD, etc. but yeah like lloyd said, you get paid less.. well less than a CD.
ECD > CD > ACD > AD > Jr. AD/Designer
