I saw it...dunno. I wasn't that impressed. Maybe I am struggling with it because there isn't enough distance for me to appreciate it as a narrative.
...or maybe it's just not so good. The Wire was successful because it took you into this granular view of plot and characters; you perceived the city from the inside out. Here, so far, the perspective is too wide angle. I got nothing out of it that I haven't already gleaned from documentaries and other news sources.
