I've been there. Same situation as your's, and it was the worst assignment I ever took on.
You have a few options:
1. Settle with the fact that the client has only bad taste, and make him a very quickly done site to go with his shit logo. Take money. Run.
2. Convince the client that his logo sucks, in a polite manner, and make him pay you to do another one to go with his new killer web site. Take money. Update portfolio.
3. Tell him to shove his money. What he wants is a prostitute, not a designer. Collect coupons. Wait in line.
