Note to self: never marry into a huge family.
Both of my parents have 8 siblings (each), and it is ridiculous how many (very) serious fights they have with each other. My parents fight with everyone else more though, as they came to Canada first and then moved to Ottawa (from Toronto) so they didn't have to deal with everyone else. My parents do have a bit of a superiority complex, but usually they're right about someone else being malicious and a horrible person in general. My mom just doesn't realize that she usually has good intentions, but can be a bitch in the process. I've given up trying to settle things and give people advice. Nothing changes.
