I'm still on that other factor -- and that's what has changed over the last 6 years too. When you guys were 'at school' and stuff .... the web was a different place. Site endeavors were part of the web community, the design portal was essential to sharing information. Then things changed and blogs and the whole web 2.0 thing made 'sharing' the default action of the web's information. So that made less of a need for the portals, or in another sense, waay more work required to make a site (like QBN, tip o the hat) that people would find worth frequenting and useful. ......
i'm rambling, but you know what I'm gettin at..
