haha Story of my life. Writing my fourth grade book report on the bus the day that it's due. Studying for my applied math final while waiting for the professor to arrive. Waiting to complete that layout that's due tomorrow until I finish an illustration that I'm having fun with.
A friend of mine with his doctorate in psychology says one theory is that people like us work especially when stimulated by impending deadlines, finding a "high" in the anxiety. The magic does often happen then, though, I think.
