I picked up my pre-order 8gig black iPhone this morning and it's great! I'm feeling a little smug about it I must sort that out. I'm a bit conscious of looking like a poseur too so I'll downplay things with an old school ringtone. No queues in Ireland it seems, but plenty of people asking for them.
