Greedo, my mom did that with my siblings and I. Except it was a Hindu astrologer. It's funny, because a lot of it is true for my siblings (not really for me). My parents refuse to tell us what is said about our futures though. Which could be taken in different ways.
(1) Our futures are horrible.
(2) They want us to choose our own path and see how it goes.I think it's (2), since they did say some of the bad (or what is perceived to be bad to some people) stuff to us already. Of course, I don't really believe in it. We'll see. I could always listen to the tapes in secret.
- No doubt most people like that are talented at saying the right thing. I've had some scarily accurate fortune cookies before (like, stalkerly accurate)ismith
- (like stalkerly accurate). Actually, that's totally unrelated. Oopsismith
- I suggest going to see Great Big Sea as my mom likes them a lot.********
- hah, flavorful, I think I will. Only because I've seen Metric 3 times now.Jaline
- Also ... what crazy post did I miss in which Greedo was talking about fortune tellers, haha.********
