  So how about if she says she's not big on the idea that the woman traditionally works at home or cooks in the kitchen, but instead they should be equal in that respect and be able to have good jobs, etc.

  But its more a case of traditional norms than traditional roles within the relationship - what would being treated in the traditional way mean?
