i just threw an aluminum can in the plastic bottle recycling container thingy. i cannot retrieve the can to make this right nor can i pretend this never happened. i am not sure i'll ever be able to recover from this.
my only hope is that every person before me who used that container and every person after me to use that container did the same thing -- hence making the plastic bottle recycling container thingy the aluminum can recycling container thingy. that is my only hope.
