    "Fray & Bentos"

    They used to have a canning factory in Evesham in the Midlands and me and my day used to fish the river just downstream from the factory. For some odd reason, a Fray Bentos canned pie would float past, at regular fifteen minute intervals, from the moment we arrived in the morning to the moment we left in the evening.

    We spent most of our time and energy trying to catch the pies. My dad made a funny contraption for his rod (Come on now, that's innapropriate humour your conjuring with here) but we were never succesful, though I did once catch a duck which we had to reel in and de-hook on the bank.

    Vicious bastards those ducks.
