Dear Blog,
I arrived home safely. The potatoes are baking in the oven and I am having a period of quiet introspection in the spare room that acts as the financial hub of the enormous Studiospooky empire. My wife (we're not married) is out at her yoga clas, my daughter (she actually is my daughter) sleeps directly above me and though she lies completely inside the cot with bars that prevent her from reaching the floor, she is somehow able to lift the entire cot physicaly clear of the ground for a second or two, and then drop it back down again violently, by a pure and malevolent force of will.
I hope one day she becomes a drummer in a Stranglers tribute band, though if this doesn't work out, perhaps she can put her freakish telekinetic ability to pratical use.
Tomorrow I vow to tear down my website and to start again from scratch. I'm going to produce the whole thing in Quark Xpress this time round.
