I would try to get your stuff in front of all the agencies and large companies in your area. ie Coke, TBS, Cartoon net. etc. Call in all favors and hit the streets, maybe get a headhunter and look for contract work to get some positive relationships - word of mouth and referrals are everything when freelancing.
