why is your movie loading so much in frame 1? is it because there are elements on the stage in frame 1 or did you you use the "linkage" property in your library?
without knowing the answers to these questions, i'll take a guess.
move your movie up one frame so that everything loads in frame 2. put your preloader in frame 1 along with a stop() action. once your preloader is done loading it should tell the movie to go to frame 2 and play.
