I once had a creative director who took to having the spiked liquid lunches 2-4 days of the week. As usual upon return she would scour the office for a tic tac or certs to mask the Jim, Johnny or Jack. This one day having come back from a particularly swinging lunch hour and coming up empty on the breath freshener, she resorts to pouring a tall cup of 6 day old coffee from French press on my desk.
As I am stuttering my words in the vain hope of alerting her to the huge faux pas in our midst. She guzzles the unholy brew without hesitation and says "You sure do love your strong coffee, dont you"
