As ludicrous as this looks - from the little I've seen of the damnable contraptions moving, they're quite nippy, aren't they? If they are fully balanced, I imagine the tech could take care of the recoil, so they'd provide quite an effective platform for a moving attack front.
Or, perhaps, they just look futur-enough to scare the shit out of any rebelling Tibetans.
