  '...having been in the casino all night, I had won thousands of pounds and managed to pick up the current Miss World, Mary Stavin. We had retired to the most expensive hotel room and Mary was naked under the covers with money scattered all over the bed when a room-service waiter, delivering vintage champagne, enquired: Mr Best, where did it all go wrong?'
