  One reason why to buy stuff from less developed countries. Like cars.

  Where I work the cars are built to last 10 years. After that, the cost of the parts that starts braking down and the spare/repairs that follows are more or less the same to that off a new car.

  It's a waste of money and it is a waste of resourcess.
  But it do generate good business.

  And on the other hand, there are those old fiats or those russian cars that runs on whatever you poor into the tank. Shot of whisky, some kerosen, gasoline, whatever you have lying around...
