it's meaningless...
nixon pulled that one too...watch 'swimming to cambodia'..
spalding gray does a pretty good job explaining what happened..suffice to say that nixon tried to have his minions spread the 'he's fucking crazy' myth..
telling the vietnamese negotiators that nixon was on edge and was thinking of pushing the button, just to get rid of the whole problem..that he was a little 'nuttsy, and prone to quick explosive decisions'...
this is kinda similar..
the idea that they'll actually use nukes to take out iraq is a fantasy...and a sick one...
it won't happen...
the US needs the world, whats it gonna do, close the borders?if the US nukes someone...
it's all over for them..
an american citizen wont be safe ANY-where in the world..
the bad pr would kill them..
no way..
and lets face it...
american citizens, en masse would riot...
it's all just posturing...
trying to make 'the other guy blink' kinda one upsmanship..
