    Funny, I was just wondering the other day what the Latin for "good design" is. I couldn't find the noun for "design" in my crappy little Latin dictionary or online. Anyone?

    • there wasn't a name for it then. Italian "disegno" as an independent practice only occurred in 1600.

    • prob is "designo" = mark out, describe. define upon purpose. still used in portuguese = desígnio = goal.
