I like the additional contrast. I would introduce a bit more blue without making it feel too happy-go-lucky, and agree with brains' suggestion.
Call me a purveyor of cheese if you will, but I think you should still try stacking that type.
Looks like something Paul Rand would've done. I mean that as a strong compliment.
