It's a nice start. My comments...
- You're establishing a spacial element of distance yet everything seems to sit on the same plane. The birds should be of different size as should the waves to give the illusion of space.
- The "The Island at the End of the World" should sit just below the horizon line. I think it would also help give the piece some depth and distance.
-There is no contrast. I think even the slightest gradients will help. What if the gradients are dark at the top and lighter at the horizon line (for the sky) and darker at the bottom and lighter at the horizon line (the water) to help draw the persons eye into the center of the work.
- I like it from a minimal standpoint but think it needs some heavy work to push it to where it needs to be.
- Looks like a childrens book. Is it? The colors and style play a big part.
- Fonts need adjusting. Not a bad start. Keep going.
- what you mean by the fonts need adjusting? the point size, or else?SoulFly
- Why is the name of the book so much smaller than the guy's name who wrote it?********
