yeah, it was impossible to clean and it eventually broke.
the one i have now i highly recommend, but it's kind of large. it's a wood box that looks like furniture with a hole in the side. they walk across a screen inside and then go down into the litter pan in the lower level at the back, so when they walk back out the litter drops thru the screen back into the pan. i use that with the silica litter.
