i've been watching the inTreatment series and have a theory on where Paul's life went wrong (the therapist). if he would allow the patients to have one or two sessions without his interrogative questions and immediate judgement they would be less argumentative and listen to him (since he took the time to hear them out). also, if he would avoid taking on patients that simply want him to make a yes or no decision for them, and instead look for patients that are interested in learning about themselves for deeper reasons, there wouldn't be as much friction.
i realize it is high drama but imo the script fails to a certain degree. i am enjoying it though.
*thanks emo
- loved it anyway!********
- somehow i'm not interested in his personal relationships though and it kind of irks me that he'd be so blind to his own shortcomings._salisae_
