  Years ago I went paddleboating at a lake beside my friend's country house. We were at the dead centre of the lake, and swarmed with mosquitoes. As I was swatting, I hit my glasses, and they flew off my head into the lake. They're probably still there, at the bottom of the lake somewhere.

  Moral of the story: always wear a buoyant glasses band when boating!

  • A lens from my glasses fell into a snowbank once and I had to go to school for a lab. Sucked, b/c I couldn't see anything.Jaline
